  • Process

This naturally processed lot is sun-dried on patios and finished in a rotary dryer. The method preserves sweetness and body while enhancing nutty and fruit-forward notes.

  • Variety

A blend of Yellow Catuai and Obata. These cultivars thrive in Brazil’s Cerrado region, offering consistently rich cups with round mouthfeel and a nut-forward character ideal for natural processing.

  • Tasting Notes

A rich, warming profile with notes of cacao, fig, macadamia nut, and a touch of cinnamon. Creamy and full-bodied with a soft, lingering finish.

Producer Profile

Luis Otavio Turati is a third-generation coffee producer in the Cerrado region of Brazil, near the city of Medeiros. His family’s journey began in São Paulo, and his father, an agronomist, founded Novo Horizonte in 1999, seeking high altitudes and ideal rainfall patterns.

Luis Otavio took over quality control in 2020, elevating the farm’s output to meet specialty coffee standards with a focus on consistency, clarity, and innovation.
