  • Variety

100% Sidra, a distinctive Arabica variety celebrated for its floral complexity, elegant structure, and vibrant fruit character. Its exceptional cup potential makes it one of the most sought-after varieties in specialty coffee.

  • Tasting Notes

Delicate and aromatic with notes of apricot, chamomile, and dried mango. Soft floral notes complement juicy stone fruit sweetness, creating an elegant cup with a silky body and a lingering finish.

Producer Profile

At 1,800 meters above sea level in Las Tolas, northwestern Ecuador, Galo Morales and María Alexandra Rivera run Finca Cruz Loma alongside their family and team. Coffee is a way of life here, shaped by learning from the land, dedication through each harvest, and a desire to share the best of Ecuador.

Their team cares for every stage, from tending the plants and selecting ripe cherries to processing, drying, and evaluating each lot. They produce washed, honey, and natural coffees, exploring controlled fermentations in selected lots to discover new expressions of each variety while preserving its character.

That work has earned recognition at Mejor Café de Pichincha, Taza Dorada, and Taza de Excelencia. As the farm grows, their focus remains on improving their practices, respecting the environment, and supporting the people behind every harvest.
Huila experiences two harvest periods, with the main crop occurring from October to December and a secondary harvest from June to August. After traditional washed processing, the coffee undergoes Ethyl Acetate decaffeination, a method that uses a compound also naturally found in fruits such as bananas. This process carefully removes caffeine while preserving the coffee's original characteristics, allowing the flavors of Huila to remain at the center of the cup.
