Producer Profile

This coffee is produced by members of Cooperativa Multifuncional Family Coffee (COMULFAC) in Jinotega, Nicaragua, at altitudes ranging from 980 to 1400 masl. The cooperative emerged from the work of J&M Family Coffee, a family-led export company founded by siblings who sought to honor their parents’ legacy at Finca Paraiso and support neighboring coffee producers.

Farmers in COMULFAC cultivate coffee on small plots of land using organic practices and process their harvests independently at micro-mills on their farms. Once pre-dried, the coffee is delivered to J&M Family Coffee for final drying, storage, and export preparation, ensuring full traceability and quality control.

COMULFAC and J&M Family Coffee work together to provide greater market access, promote sustainable practices, and invest in community-based projects that support long-term well-being for farming families.
