  • Process

This coffee is fully washed and sun-dried, a process that begins with hand-harvested ripe cherries that are then depulped, fermented, and carefully washed.

  • Variety

A blend of Catimor, Caturra, and Pache, three varieties well-suited for high elevations. Together, they contribute balance, gentle acidity, and sweetness to the final profile.

  • Tasting Notes

A bright, yet comforting cup—zesty notes of preserved lemon add sparkle to the smooth, creamy body. Layers of milk chocolate bring warmth and softness, while cane sugar rounds everything out with a clean, natural sweetness.

Producer Profile

This coffee comes from Cooperativa Agraria de Servicios Múltiples Selva Andina, a collective of 497 smallholder farmers cultivating coffee in Jaén, Cajamarca, and Amazonas, Peru. Farms are typically small and diverse, intercropped with shade trees, bananas, and staple crops that support both biodiversity and long-term soil health.

Each producer handles harvesting and processing on their own land, using traditional methods and organic practices to care for both coffee and environment. After the initial post-harvest stages, the cooperative plays a vital role, offering technical support, assisting with certifications, and managing infrastructure for storage and export.

Selva Andina’s work ensures quality and traceability, while fostering sustainable practices and collaborative growth across the region.

Meet the artist behind the label

Fernanda Cantuarias (@lynenickart) is a Peruvian multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto. Her art centers around self expression through joyful aesthetics based in comfort and connection to nature. Her Peruvian coffee label is inspired by the Afro-Peruvian musical legacy, always full of color, passion and mastery. She created this piece during college, as a newcomer in Canada, as a way to feel closer to her roots and share the richness of her culture with what would be her new home.
